To ensure a smooth and personalized experience, we have implemented the following Retainer Policy for custom orders. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for securing your order and enables us to dedicate our time and resources to crafting the perfect treats for your celebration.
1. Retainer Fee: A non-refundable retainer fee will be required to initiate the custom order process. The retainer fee will be a 50% of the total order value and will be communicated to you during the consultation phase. This fee serves as a commitment to proceed with the order and reserves your slot in our production schedule.
2. Consultation: Before finalizing the order, we encourage you to schedule a consultation with our skilled bakers and decorators. During this meeting, we will discuss your design preferences, flavors, size, and any other customizations you desire. Once all the details are agreed upon, we will provide a price quote for your order, including the retainer fee.
3. Retainer Payment Deadline: To secure your order and reserve the designated production slot, the retainer fee must be paid within 5 business days of receiving the price quote. Failure to make the payment within this period may result in the loss of the reservation, and your order will be subject to availability.
4. Order Confirmation: Upon receiving the retainer fee, we will send you an order confirmation via email, validating the details discussed during the consultation. The confirmation will include the order specifics, pickup/delivery date, and the outstanding balance to be settled one week before collection/delivery.
5. Changes to the Order: If you wish to make changes to your custom order after the retainer fee has been paid, please notify us as soon as possible. While we will do our best to accommodate modifications, changes may be subject to availability and additional costs, which will be communicated to you for approval.
6. Cancellation Policy: As the retainer fee is non-refundable, cancellations made after payment will result in the forfeiture of the retainer amount. However, if you choose to cancel the order well in advance of the pickup/delivery date, the retainer fee may be applied as store credit for future purchases within 3 months.
7. Balance Payment: The remaining balance of your order must be settled in full 7 days before pickup/delivery. We accept various payment methods, including cash, credit cards, and Zelle.
8. Pickup/Delivery: Your custom cakes and cookies will be ready for pickup/delivery on the agreed-upon date and time. Kindly ensure that you or your designated representative is available to receive the order. In the case of delivery, additional fees will apply depending on the location.
9. Satisfaction Guarantee: We take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our custom creations. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with the order upon pickup/delivery, please notify us immediately, and we will do our best to address and rectify the issue.
